Climate and clothing
Praia das Fontes is at sea level and the weather is generally hot with
some fresh wind. In April average daily temperature is around 30°C
and humidity of 75-80% and it may rain. Light clothes, sunblock lotion
and sunglasses are recommended. One or two warmer clothes may be useful
at night.
Visa to Brazil
Brazilian visa must be obtained in advance from the Brazilian Embassy
or consulate nearest to the traveler's place of residence.

Vaccination
International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required
for entry for all persons arriving from countries listed bellow:
Angola, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Camaroes, Colombia, Congo, Costa
do Marfim , Equador, Gabao, Gambia, Gana, Guiana Francesa, Guine, Liberia,
Nigeria, Peru, Serra Leoa, Sudao, Venezuela.

Official language: Portuguese.
English is spoken in hotels, airports and tourist areas, but not widely
spoken by Brazilians.
Currency: Real (R$). The amount
of foreign currency in cash, cheques, etc. that may be brought into
the country is limited to USD 10,000. Foreign currency may be exchanged
at banks, exchange offices, hotels (including the venue hotel) and the
airport.

Credit cards: Those most commonly accepted include Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Diners Club. Cash dispensers where cash can be
withdrawn with these credit cards can be found throughout the country.
Electricity: 220V (60Hz).
Health insurance: All participants
are advised to insure against medical expenses, accidents and damage
to private property, since the Organizing Committee cannot be held responsible
for any of these events.
