VENUE AND FACILITIES The venue for the workshop is the Hotel Oasis Praia das Fontes, in the county of Beberibe, state of Ceará, NE Brazil. Praia das Fontes is one of the most beautiful beaches at the Eastern coast of Ceará. It is situated 85 km from Fortaleza, the state capital, and shows sceneries of rare beauty with white sand dunes, springs of fresh water right by the sea and coloured sand-cliffs. The Hotel Oásis Praia das Fontes, is the largest (80,000 m2) and most beautiful resort at Praia das Fontes. It has 148 chalets, 37 suites, 68 apartments with view to the sea. All rooms are fitted with air conditioner, individual safe, 02 twin beds, fridge, long-distance call telephone, cable and satellite TV, 220V mains and terrace with hammocks for resting. The hotel offers all the amenities you would expect of a full service resort such as 05 rooms for events, 03 swimming pools (2 for adults and 1 for children), 02 restaurant (buffet and a la carte services), lobby bar, snack bar, sauna, kids club, playground, tennis court, 04 sport courts, fishing lake, aquatic park and a disco. Other facilities available are parking area, car rental, porters, medical service, 24 h room service, towel service by the beach and pools, laundry, 24 h reception, curios shop, free access to the water park, taxi service, internet, fax, phone, post and exchange service. For the workshop we obtained special rates for "all inclusive" services (taxes also already included) per participant. Single R$ 170.00

lunch and dinner (buffet service); We also negotiated these special rates for the three days previous and after the event, in the case any participant wish to come earlier or leave later. Please
notice that for these special rates check-in time is 14:00 h and check-out
time is 12:00 h. Earlier check-in and/or later check-out are possible
by payment of R$ 25,00 (c.a. US$ 10). |
